Registration Opens for Arts Day & Governor's Awards | Arts Impact Ohio March 16, 2016 Registration is now open for the 2016 Arts Day & Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio luncheon and the first Arts Impact Ohio conference. This year marks the 46th anniversary of the luncheon, which will be held at noon on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the Columbus Athenaeum in downtown Columbus. New this year, the Governor’s Awards will be followed by Arts Impact Ohio, a statewide conference engaging the creative sector, which will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Vern Riffe Center for Government & the Arts. The luncheon and conference are hosted by the Ohio Arts Council and the Ohio Citizens for the Arts Foundation. Participants will be able to experience the arts onsite at various venues during the afternoon of May 18. An evening reception will be held at the Columbus Museum of Art. Both events are also open to purchasers of Governor’s Awards tickets. Thursday, May 19 will mark the opening of an all-day professional development conference.
