Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition Hosts Inaugural Poetry Showcase Aug. 1

For the first time in its history, the Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition will host a day dedicated to poetry on Aug. 1. The performance schedule includes recitations and readings by 2019 Ohio Poetry Out Loud State Champion Anna Kahle and other POL participants, Ohio Poetry Association poets, and Ohio Poet Laureate Dave Lucas.

Lima Student Wins 2019 Ohio Poetry Out Loud State Finals

Anna Kahle, a junior at Lima Central Catholic High School, was named the 2019 Ohio Poetry Out Loud state champion. She will go on to represent Ohio at the Poetry Out Loud National Finals in Washington, D.C., in April.
