How it Works
- After registering for the conference, interested organizations may submit a brief summary of their proposed project via the OAC website (details on how to do this provided following registration). Deadline to apply is Friday, November 9.
- Up to five finalists will be selected to prepare materials for presentation at the conference. If selected, you will be notified by November 16 of your opportunity to present a short, 60- to 90-second video summarizing your proposed project to your fellow conveners. Additional instructions for videos will be made available upon finalist selection.
- Finalists will be revealed at the last session of the conference on Thursday afternoon, December 6, at which time each finalist’s video will be introduced and shown.
- Participants in attendance will each vote, the winner will be announced, and the organization chosen will receive an award from the Ohio Arts Council to support carrying out the upcoming work!
How to Apply
This application deadline has passed. All applicants will be notified of their status by November 16, 2018.
Only FY 2018-2019 OAC organizational grant recipients are eligible to apply (including Sustainability and Arts Access grantees). Proposed projects must occur between December 6, 2018 and June 30, 2019. If successful, funds may not be used to support projects already explicitly funded via another OAC grant. No matching funds are required.
All applicants must register and at least one representative of your organization must attend the Arts Impact Ohio 2018 convening in Columbus. Finalists must furnish a 60- to 90-second video summarizing their proposed projects to be introduced by the applicant and presented at conference closing.
A brief Final Report of activities will be due 30 days following the conclusion of project activities.
