Welcome to the Ohio Creative Writers Directory.
The directory includes information about more than 450 fiction and nonfiction writers, playwrights and poets who reside in 55 Ohio counties. You may search for writers by last name, city, Ohio county or by discipline and genre. If you are interested in finding a writer who works within a particular setting or with a particular group of individuals you should make your selection under "work places" or "groups."

Search is easiest and will return the most relevant records if limited to specific parameters. Entering no search parameters will return all records.

Due to the implementation of cost savings days (furloughs) by the State of Ohio, the OAC office will be closed on the following days: Friday, November 27; Thursday, December 24; and Thursday, December 31. In each case the office will reopen at 8 a.m. the following Monday. Thank you for your cooperation during these periods.
