Ohio Arts Organizations
The Ohio Arts Organizations database allows users to quickly access information on arts and cultural organizations all across Ohio. The database has been compiled primarily using records in the Ohio Arts Council's OnLine Grants Applications system (OLGA). Entries are searchable by name, city, county and/or CEO last name. Organizations are also categorized by discipline and institution type using a system developed by the National Information Systems Project (NISP), a program of state and regional arts agencies across the country and the National Endowment for the Arts.
If your organization has already created a profile in OLGA, the changes you make there automatically will be reflected here each time we update the database. If your organization has an OLGA profile but does not wish to be listed here, please contact Dan Katona, Director of Organizational Services, to have your listing deactivated. If your organization is not currently listed but would like to be, you will need to create a profile in OLGA, even if you do not intend to seek funding from the Ohio Arts Council. This listing is free and open to all non-profit, for profit, and incorporated arts and cultural organizations in Ohio, as well as non-arts organizations offering arts programming. There is no jurying process. The database is refreshed using new OLGA data on a regular basis; therefore, organizations will need to make sure that they update your OLGA profile any time a pertinent change occurs. Your organization may be listed whether or not it intends to seek funding through the Ohio Arts Council.
If you have any questions regarding the database, please contact Dan Katona.
Search is easiest and will return the most relevant records if limited to specific parameters. Entering no search parameters will return all records.
