1 November #CelebrateOhioArts Campaign Encourages Exploration of Ohio Museums and Art Institutions November 1, 2017 For Artists, For Educators, For Organizations, For the Public #CelebrateOhioArts, Art, Museums, November, Ohio, POBA 0 A new statewide, month-long series of events and activities is aiming to introduce Ohioans and visitors alike to the rich heritage of the arts in Ohio. #CelebrateOhioArts is an initiative and social media campaign launched by POBA | Where the Arts Live, an online arts hub that aims to "celebrate and feature the works of exceptional artists who have died without recognition of the full measure of their talents or creative legacies, regardless of artistic genres and mediums," in partnership with the Ohio Museums Association and the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). Throughout the month of November, POBA | Where the Arts Live will be featuring an online gallery of selected Ohio visual artists. As part of the celebration, Ohio residents are encouraged to visit their favorite museums and arts institutions—and discover new favorites! You can share your experiences with us by posting about your visits, your favorite exhibits, and works on social media using the hashtag #CelebrateOhioArts. The OAC will be sharing posts with this hashtag, so be sure to find and tag us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
